[The S2P surface is as extreme as it gets. The very fine weave results in extreme speeds. We have gone to the limits, so far that the Hero 2 (which is known for making trouble) might have trouble with their surface detection feature. We are hoping for a firmware update which hopefully fixes this. Please be aware before you buy.]
THE QUANTUM BASE
After three mousepad editions and a lot of development time, weโre ready to share our latest mousepad project.
The goal was simple: stop forcing people to choose between cloth or glass.
Glass pads offer a firm surface and a consistent, low-friction glide.
Cloth pads offer control, friction tuning, comfort, and slower skate wear.
Our solution: a cloth surface paired with an extremely firm elastomeric high-density polymer base that we call the QuantumBase.
The result is a mousepad with a stable, glass-like foundation and the controlled, nuanced glide of cloth.
